Camp sessions are held on the Westside at Blanco Park, Lindberg Park, Fox Hills Park and/or Mar Vista Park
Enrollment is limited and sessions fill up quickly; it is suggested that you enroll early to secure a place in camp.
Pricing includes a camp t-shirt and camp photograph, and we offer a 10% sibling discount.
Camp Overview
Camp is geared to making the campers' Fall soccer seasons a more meaningful and enjoyable experience, for both first time AYSO players and experienced Club-level campers.
Campers are placed in groups according to their ability to maximize individual instruction, with a 7:1 Camper to Coach target ratio.
Our coaches come with experience across the AYSO, Club, High School & College ranks, both boys' and girls' soccer. Our coaches are "homegrown soccer stars", most of whom started their careers with Westdale Soccer Camp back in the 1990s!
Our Philosophy
Since its predecessor's early beginnings in the 1980s, Westdale Soccer Camp understood that a child's development and desire to play soccer was quickly killed by endless standing in line waiting for a turn on "drills." You won't find any "Lines, Laps or Lectures" in our camp. Instead, we use games and game-like scenarios to facilitate learning, with a perfect blend of challenging exercises and friendly matches.
Our priorities are on safety, fun and development (in that order), and campers are exposed to foundational and advanced dribbling, passing, shooting, tackling & trapping, with special emphasis on ball control technique - and we do it all through games & play.
Executive Coaches & Staff
Director Dan
Dan is a Coach and Director of Westdale Culver City Soccer Camp and is the head coach for the LA Center for Enriched Stufies ("LACES") Boys' Varsity Soccer Team. Coach Dan is licensed by United States Soccer - the organization that trains America's Olympic and National Soccer Teams, and is certified in coaching by the National Federation of State High Schools (NFHS). Dan has played soccer at the highest levels in the United States and overseas, and was a member of the University of California, Berkeley Varsity Soccer Team, and also played for the California Kickers of the Western Soccer Alliance.

Coach KB
Coach KB started his coaching career with Westdale back in the 1990s. He grew up in a soccer family here in the Westside, and continues to play competitively in Los Angeles. Coach KB leads our technical program development, leveraging 40+ years of soccer as a player and coach. He currently serves as a coach for Venice High School's Girls' soccer program.
Favorite World Cup Moment: Valderrama to Rincon in 1990.
Coach Eli
Coach Jason
Coach Eli is one of the few members of the executive coaching team to have come up straight through the ranks at Westdale Soccer Camp, from camper, to Staff, to assistant coach and through today, where he works primarily with campers new to soccer, and our goalkeepers. Born and raised on the Westside, Eli is a natural, all-around athlete and excels at soccer, basketball, tennis, swimming and triathlons.
Favorite World Cup Moment: Richard Morales goal against Senegal in 2002

Coach Jason
Coach Jason has been a mainstay at the camp since 2024, and comes with a unique background as a soccer player and licensed CTE Sport Medicine Instructor. Jason is currently the Head Athletic Trainer at Venice High School. He focuses on nutrition and mental and emotional development for youth athletes. Jason previously served as Athlete Development Program Manager at the
UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital.

She is one of our newest youth staff coaches, Charley comes from a long line of soccer players in both the United States and Mexico. Part of our commitment to hiring and developing local talent, Charley is a key player for the Venice High School Varsity Girls Team, and is a star defender for the Autobahn Soccer Club. Welcome Charley!

Coach Leo works with our older and advanced Boys groups, and holds an impressive player background, from under-8 AYSO to United club, where he competed in multiple showcases and the Mina Cup. Leo is a true student of the game, and brings a cerebral approach to coaching. He hopes to inspire the same love of the game in the players he coaches.

Summer Sessions 2025
Our 2025 Summer camps will focus on all-around skill development, with a meticulously crafted curriculum combining individual technique, team play and defensive positioning.
As always, we prioritize safety, fun and development, and we'll continue to use games and game-like scenarios to facilitate learning, with a perfect blend of challenging exercises and friendly matches. Campers of all skill-levels will have the chance to enhance their soccer abilities while enjoying the camaraderie of their fellow campers.

Monday to Friday Camps
- All-day Camp, 9:00 am to 2:30 pm - $475
- Half-day Camp, 9:00 am to 12:30 pm - $275
- Single Day Camp, 9:00 am to 2:30 pm - $95
- Single Day Camp, 9:00 am to 12:30 pm - $65
- Ages: 6 - 13
- Skill levels - beginner to advanced/club (Players are grouped according to size and skill, with friend/family requests considered).
- Location: Blanco Park in Culver City.
